The Interested Ladies of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority Inc., is established as an Interest Group for ladies looking for sisterhood within Lambda Theta Alpha. The goal of the interest group is to create bonds and relationships with Sisters of Lambda Theta Alpha and fellow Interested Ladies. Lambda Theta Alpha devotes much time and dedication to the Interest Group. In this way, fundraising, community service and activism, as well as social efforts, can be a success. By their collaborative efforts, past interest groups have attained high levels of success and have gained essential insight as to what Lambda Theta Alpha is all about… a sisterhood based on Unity, Love, and Respect.

Do I have to be a Latina to join?
NO, we are NOT an exclusive organization. As the first Latina sorority in the nation, Lambda Theta Alpha recognizes the importance of reaching out to others and forming a united coalition of professional, diverse, culturally and politically aware women.
How is the INTEREST GROUP different from RUSHING?
In one word: TIME. You get an opportunity to learn about the organization and our sisters before you make the decision to move forward. Interested ladies may leave and enter the group when they want. The personal well being of our interests is priority which is why we firmly uphold the open door policy.
Are there GPA requirements?
Yes. Lambda Theta Alpha is an academic sorority. First and foremost you are here to get an education, therefore we encourage academic achievement. Our GPA requirement is a 2.6. Should any interested lady fall below a 2.6, sisters and other interests are there to assist and help in any way possible.
Do you step?
No. Lambda Theta Alpha performs salutes, a type of verse coupled with movements and written by sisters to tell of the organization's history, achievements, and to honor members. We also perform party walks called strolls.
